What is Ticket Exchange?

  • Ticket Exchange is a benefit to season ticket members that allows the return of seats for one game in exchange for another game. Don’t let your tickets go to waste! Instead, “exchange” them for another game in the future. Your seat location in the new, exchanged seats will vary based on availability.
If you prefer to resell your seats on account manager, rather than exchanging the seats for a future game, you can do that as well.

How do I exchange my seats for another game?

  • This is only available on the desktop version of Account Manager or on a mobile web browser.  It is not available within the Spurs app. We recommend using Google Chrome web browser.
  • Log into Account Manager, select “Manage Tickets” in the top left corner, select the game you would like to return, select the “More” button and then select “Exchange”.

Which of my games are eligible to be exchanged?

  • Most games are eligible to be exchanged.

When can I begin exchanging games?

  • The Exchange Feature is activated on the 15th (or first business day following the 15th) of the previous month - meaning if you want to return a game in your package that occurs in March, it will be eligible to exchange on February 15. If you want to return a game that occurs in November, it will be eligible to exchange beginning October 15.
  • If your account is not paid in full, you may be subject to pay the full balance due for the tickets to the new game selected in the exchange process.
  • In other words, if you are on a payment plan but there is not money applied yet to the games later in the season (because not all scheduled payments have been completed) then those later games will not be eligible to be exchanged. Accounts paid in full will have full access to exchange. 

What is the cut-off time for exchanges?

  • Exchanges must be done three (3) business days or more in advance of the game. No exceptions will be permitted.  

If I want to exchange only two of my four seats for a game, can I do that?

  • Yes!

What is the price of the new seats I select?

  • The short answer is, it depends on the tier of game and the seat location you select!
  • Your current seats are priced at your season ticket rate (avg price per game). When you return your current seats in the Exchange process and select new seats, the NEW seats may be priced differently (depending on the tier of game or seat location you choose). Again, it all depends on the tier of the game you are selecting as well as the seat location you select for your new seats. Your credit for your original seats can be applied at checkout and if there is still a balance due for the new seats, you pay the difference. 
  • If you do not want to pay any additional monies toward newly selected seats, make sure you select a game and a seat location that has the same tier or below the game of the seats you returned; as well as a similar seat location.

How do the Spurs determine the “tier” of games?

  • Tiers of games are determined by the opponent and day of week. Ticket prices may vary based depending on the tier. For example, the same seat can be priced higher for a Tier A game than it is for a Tier C game.

What if the seats I exchange into cost more than the seats I turn in?

  • If this is the case, you will be required to pay the difference upon checkout.

Will I have the same management functionality on the new seats I exchange into? In other words, will I be able to view, resell or transfer the new seats?

  • Yes! Seats may be exchanged only once. The new seats you exchange into are eligible to be transferred and resold.

What happens to my original seats once I exchange them?

  • Your original seats are returned and made available for purchase to the public.

If I do an exchange and then change my mind, can I undo that and get my seats back?

  • No, all exchanges are final.

If I exchange games, will it affect my payment plan?

  • Exchanged games are removed from your payment plan and your new seats will not be added to your payment plan. Therefore, this may adjust future payment amounts.

Can I exchange my parking passes, too?

  • Yes! This is a separate transaction flow within your Account Manager, but the same process applies. Please select your parking event and click “Exchange”. Note: Complimentary parking passes are not eligible for exchange. If you need a parking pass for your new game, you will need to add separately and pay in full. Season Ticket Member discount will automatically apply at checkout.
